Well, we're back from Scotland, but not quite with the definitive bang we had hoped for! As you can likely tell from the picture above in the beautiful surrounds of Applecross, we were quite ill whilst away, and it manifested itself into full on chest infections. What seemed like a passing cold, just got worse and worse. So, our return has meant the extra mental and physical load of making and sending orders out as usual, and trying to be readily available in the shop.
With a course of antibiotics done, and dribs and drabs of rest, we're getting back to a fraction of normal. Sorry to those who tried to visit Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon - and thank you to those who have completely understood the difficulties we have been managing.
That being said, the shop is open, and unless some other ill luck wants to come our way, we are back to usual hours!
As for Scotland - it was wonderful, and beautiful and our hearts are pining, despite the zombie version of a road trip! We shall share some of our adventures and favourite stops soon.
