Get ready for some Halloween fun! 🕷️🕸️ Bring the family along to our annual Halloween Pumpkin & Ghost Trail, organised by Mauchline Community Association. A spooktacular evening of Halloween magic awaits, and we need YOUR help to make it a success! 🧡

🎃 GET CARVING!
Help us fill the trail with spooky, funny and creative pumpkins for everyone to enjoy! Whether it’s a scary face, a silly smile or a masterpiece, we’d love you to take part.

📍 Pumpkin drop-off: 14:00 – 16:00 on the day at The Tinkers Wood.

🏆 PRIZES TO BE WON!
We’ll be awarding prizes on the night for the best-carved pumpkins, so get creative and show us what you can do!

👻 WANT TO GET MORE INVOLVED?
Why not help us create a Halloween prop or spooky decoration to display along the trail? The more spooky surprises, the better! If you’d like to contribute, we’d love to hear from you.

🤖🧹 MEET THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE CENTRE STANE TEAM! 🧹🤖

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve recruited a new team member to help keep our big hall s***k and span between lets! 😂

Meet our brand-new Robot Vacuum Cleaner — the only member of the team who’s happy to work around the clock, doesn’t ask for a tea break, never phones in sick and doesn’t complain about overtime! 🤣

It’s already been put to work keeping our floors looking their best for all the fantastic groups, classes and activities that take place at Centre Stane. 💪✨

There’s just one small problem… it needs a name! 🤔

So, we’re handing that job over to YOU! 👇

What should we call our new little cleaning machine? Something funny, something local, or maybe a name that reflects its very important role in keeping Centre Stane sparkling! 🧹✨

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO MAUCHLINE PRIMARY SCHOOL! ❤️

A massive thank you to the wonderful children from Primary 3 of Mauchline Primary School for their kindness and generosity in collecting Harvest donations for our Cupboard @ The Cross! 🌾🥫

Your amazing efforts have resulted in a fantastic collection of essential items, including tinned food, pasta, cereal and other cupboard staples. Every single donation makes a difference and helps us support local families as we continue to tackle the rising cost of living. 💚

It’s heartwarming to see our young people thinking of others and making such a positive contribution to their community. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 👏🥰

From everyone involved with the Cupboard @ The Cross, thank you for showing such wonderful community spirit. Your kindness really does go a long way! ❤️

Another busy after school club this week 💕

Week 2 of Mauchline After School Club tomorrow.

If you have submitted a form for your child to attend, they have a space. Please let your child know in the morning that we will be collecting them from the playground at our meeting point. I have posted the photo of this again to remind children.
If your child has been before they should know where this is, however if you let them know it’s the part of the playground where we all put on our yellow jackets - they will understand this.

We are looking forward to another action packed fun filled week.

🎣 YOUTH ANGLING CLUB – WE’D LOVE YOUR VIEWS! 🎣

What a fantastic first meeting we had about setting up a Youth Angling Club in Mauchline! 🙌
We were delighted to bring together some great local expertise, with interested volunteers and friends from Mauchline & Ballochmyle Angling Club and Borland Trout Fishery / Cumnock Angling Club joining us.

Between everyone, we came up with some fantastic ideas about how we could make this a fun, safe and educational opportunity for young people in our community. 👏🎣

We’re still exploring exactly what the group could look like — whether that’s meeting once a week or a couple of times a month — initially focusing on learning the basics of angling, equipment and, most importantly, water safety, before eventually getting out onto the fisheries and rivers to put those skills into practice.
👉 Now we need your help!
Would you like to see a Youth Angling Club for children aged 9+ in Mauchline?
If you think your child would be interested, please comment below and let us know. There’s absolutely no commitment at this stage — we’re simply trying to gauge the level of interest and see if this is something local families would like to see and use.
The more interest we have, the better we can shape the club around what young people and their families would like. ❤️

🔮✨ WHAT AN AMAZING EVENING! ✨🔮
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Mauchline Spiritualist Centre last night. What an evening we had! ❤️
I'm sure everyone in the room will agree that Moira Pirry was simply amazing. From the moment she began, she had the audience completely captivated. The room was so quiet at times, you really could have heard a pin drop! ✨
There was such a wonderful atmosphere throughout the evening, and we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Moira for sharing her time and incredible mediumship with us. 💜
🌙 But that's not all...
Our next meeting will be on Thursday 5th November, and we're delighted to be welcoming another TWO MEDIUMS to Mauchline Spiritualist Centre.
Who will they be? What will the evening bring? ✨🔮
