📣 Free travel for Job Seekers – Greater Anglia 🚃

🔹Getting to and from interviews as a jobseeker can be tricky. Newly launched Job Track can help you fast-track to employment with free travel.

✅ Have you been been unemployed for at least six months or have recently left education?
✅ Are you actively seeking employment with either Jobcentre Plus or Ingeus?
✅ Receive up to six free tickets for travel to job interviews.
✅Jobseekers are also able to take advantage of the Jobcentre Plus Travel Discount Card – a UK government initiative which allows those who are unemployed and claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance or Universal Credit to receive a 50% discount on selected rail tickets. To get a Jobcentre Plus railcard, apply at your local Jobcentre Plus.
✅ Once you’ve found employment, you can receive help with your travel for the first two months of your new job with a two-month season ticket.

💙 Dad’s Onside provides practical and emotional support for fathers in Norfolk at every stage of fatherhood.

✅ One-to-one sessions
✅ Group activities and tailored programmes
✅ Build confidence
✅ Develop positive parenting skills
✅ Maintain meaningful connections with their children.

📍 Their drop-in service available in Norwich and Great Yarmouth offers fathers the opportunity to speak with a member of the team during a 30-minute appointment, based on availability and in order of arrival. There is no need to book in advance – simply turn up.

📣 There’s still time to complete the Family Voice Norfolk Survey Summer 2026 - Getting Ready for OFSTED & CQC ☀️

Family Voice Norfolk wants to hear about the real experiences of children and young people with SEND aged 0-25 and their families who live in Norfolk or use a service provided by Norfolk.

Your feedback will help us better understand, and share, what life is like ahead of the OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills) and CQC (Care Quality Commission) AREA SEND Inspection which is expected to happen soon. We would like your help to prepare for this.

We have a range of practical tools and resources on the Norfolk SEND Local Offer website to help you prepare and support your child in this transition to something new.

✅ Relationship maps to identify the important people in their life
✅ ‘What's working, what's not working’ tools to help understand needs and priorities
✅ Decision-making tools to support children and young people to make choices and have their views heard
✅ Wishes and feelings resources to help capture their voice

These resources can help those supporting your child quickly build a better understanding of their strengths, needs and preferences.
