Important information below:
🕐 Time Changes🕐
Due to the extreme heat the event opens at 09:00 and will close at 11:30.

☀️ It is still going to be HOT.☀️
Visitors are reminded to bring plenty of water with them and to wear suncream and other protective attire. If you feel feint or have any other signs of heat stroke whilst on site please report to the information desk immediately.

🐎Due to the heat we've decided not to allow horse transport from the event🐎

🎟️If your name isn't on the Pre-enrolment list and you have not received the catalogue please do not attend the event, all horses not reserved today will be later advertised online🎟️

We are looking forward to inviting everyone onto the yard and hope many of our horses find their forever homes😊

Hello everybody.
Due to an absolutely overwhelming response, we have made the decision to close the MWH Re-home day applications.
All those who have already applied will shortly receive confirmation of attendance alongside the event catalogue.
Everyone who has not managed to enrol this time please do not fear, after the event all remaining horses will be advertised on our Sway page (link found in our bio).

For those who are interested in the work conducted at DATR, there is a general open day planned for next year [more information to follow in the coming months]

Announcement: for 1 day only, the Defence Animal Training Regiment DATR is opening its working yard for sales viewings of the retired Military Working Horse herd. 🎉🐴

We have a number of Military Working Horses, 🐎 🐎 🐎 who are searching for their forever homes; from the old and bolds, to the youngsters whose quirky behaviour means they are not suitable for a busy Army career.

If you are interested in purchasing one of these iconic horses, please follow the link in our bio to the booking page. 🎟️🎟️✅

To manage numbers and ensure that homes are welfare positive for our beloved horses pre-booking is a MUST, and those who haven't pre-booked will be turned away on the day.
All these horses deserve 5* homes, yours could be one of theirs.

*As we wish our horses forever homes, we will not be admitting horse dealers to the event. As a further precaution to this, all on-the-day sales will be limited to no more than 2 horses per person, and large horseboxes over 7.5ton will be prohibited from entering the site.
