🧸 Nervous around the water?

That’s why patience is so important.

We don’t believe in rushing swimmers through skills they’re not ready for. Instead, we work with them, build trust and gradually introduce new challenges when they’re comfortable.

Sometimes progress is slow.

Sometimes one tiny achievement can completely change their confidence.

And then suddenly… they’re swimming! 🏊‍♀️✨

🎉🏊‍♀️ SUMMER INTENSIVE COMPLETE! 🏊‍♂️🎉

A huge well done to Seb & Evie for completing their 3-day Summer Intensive Course at The Swim Labs! 💙

🌟 Seb came into the course confident in the water but was still learning the full stroke and technique. In just three days, he can now swim 5 metres fully independently, and we’re already working on his breathing to the side! What amazing progress! 👏🏼

🌟 Evie has made such a huge improvement in confidence! She’s learned how to breathe to the side, swim for longer distances and is now so close to our 25-metre goal! 🏊‍♀️💗

Both of you have worked incredibly hard, listened, practised and most importantly — had fun in the water! 🥰

I’m so proud of how far you’ve both come in just three days. Keep practising, keep believing and keep enjoying the water! 💦⭐️

☀️ KIDS BORED THIS SUMMER? WE’VE GOT YOU! 💦

Looking for something fun to keep the little ones entertained on those long summer days? You don’t always need a fancy activity — water play can be a great way to have fun AND build confidence around water! 🏊‍♀️

🫧 BUBBLE BLOWING
See who can make the biggest bubbles underwater! This is also a great way for children to practise controlling their breathing.

🐠 TOY HUNT
Drop some sinkable toys into the water and see if they can collect them from the bottom. Great for practising putting their face underwater!

🦵 KICKING GAMES
Use a float or hold onto the side and see who can make the biggest splash with their kicks! 💦

⭐ FLOATING CHALLENGE
Can you float like a starfish? ⭐ Try floating on your back and counting to 5, then 10!

🫧 BATH TIME FUN
Even the bath can become a mini swimming lesson! Practise blowing bubbles, putting your chin in the water, pouring water over arms and shoulders, and getting comfortable with splashes.

🐸 ANIMAL SWIMMING
Can you jump like a frog? 🐸
Wiggle like a fish? 🐟
Splash like a dolphin? 🐬

🏊‍♀️ LEISURE CENTRE DAY
Head to your local pool and let the kids practise the skills they’re learning in lessons — floating, kicking, bubbles and safe jumping!

💙 MOST IMPORTANTLY… HAVE FUN!
The more positive experiences children have around water, the more comfortable and confident they can become.

⚠️ A QUICK SAFETY REMINDER:
Children should always be closely and actively supervised around water, including paddling pools, swimming pools and baths. Water play should never be treated as a substitute for swimming lessons or water-safety skills.
