If you have already ordered your school uniform, Bishop Hedley Campus will be open for collection w/c 17th August.

We also have try-on items available. If you’re unsure which size to order, please call in and speak to a member of our staff. We’ll be happy to help you find the right fit.

💛 That's a wrap on Food and Fun 26! 💛

What an incredible 12 days we've shared together. Thank you to all of our amazing families for your continued support and commitment to the programme, and to our fantastic children for throwing themselves into every challenge, tasting new foods, trying new activities and making so many wonderful memories.

As we say goodbye to St Illtyd's Campus, we do so with full hearts and excitement for the future. We can't wait to welcome you to our brand new school for even bigger and better adventures at Food and Fun 2027!

🎭 Food and Fun – Day 12 🎭

What a fantastic way to finish an incredible CTM Food and Fun 2026! 🌟

With the rain keeping us indoors, we turned our hall into a stage for our very own Food and Fun's Got Talent competition – and what a show it was! 🌈✨
Our talented children wowed us with amazing circus skills, energetic dance routines, fantastic singing performances and plenty of confidence. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and celebrating each other's talents.

A brilliant, laughter-filled ending to an unforgettable 12 days of fun, friendship, healthy food and fantastic memories. Thank you to every child for making this year's programme so special – you've all been stars! ⭐❤️

🚨 Food and Fun – Day 11 🚓🚑🚔🚒🏔️

What an incredible CTM Food and Fun Emergency Services Day we had! 🤩

A huge thank you to all of our amazing visitors who gave our children a hands-on insight into the fantastic work they do to keep our communities safe.

🚗 Scott and Mark from Merthyr Tydfil CBC Enforcement Team showed us their specialist CCTV enforcement vehicle, explaining how it helps keep children safe by monitoring illegal parking outside schools, at bus stops and on zig-zag lines. The children loved seeing themselves dancing on the onboard video screen!

🚑 John from Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust welcomed us into his ambulance, where we discovered all of the lifesaving equipment it carries. We even had the chance to ride on the patient lift!

👮 Libby and Ieuan from South Wales Police brought along their police cars and lots of police equipment for us to try on. We couldn't believe how heavy the helmets were! Sitting inside the police cars and hearing the different sirens was definitely a highlight of the day.

🏔️ Huw and Will from Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team introduced us to their rescue truck and explained the important work they do in challenging terrain, often reaching places other emergency services can't. We loved trying out their specialist stretcher and taking turns carrying one another!

📏 Our local South Wales Police Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil and Bridgend Chris also joined us with his speed gun, challenging everyone to see how fast they could run across the yard. While nobody broke the speed limit, Ollie raced to an impressive 14mph! 🏃💨

Unfortunately, the Gorsaf Dân Ac Achub Merthyr Tudful / Merthyr Tydfil Fire and Rescue Station couldn't join us as they were responding to a local fire. It was a real reminder that emergencies can happen at any moment and that our emergency services are always ready to help when they're needed most.

A massive thank you to everyone who visited us today. We are so grateful for everything you do to keep our communities safe. ❤️👏

We'll see you all again next year!

Another shield earned on our CTM Food and Fun adventure!

Today our children completed the Food Art Shield Quest, turning a delicious selection of fresh fruits into colourful, creative masterpieces. From smiley faces to imaginative designs, their creativity really shone through!

It was a fantastic way to show that healthy food can be fun, exciting and full of imagination. Well done, everyone! 🌟🍇🍌🍉

🏀 Food and Fun – Day 10 🏀

What an action-packed day we had today as we welcomed Simon from Basketball Wales ⛹️

Our children were put through their paces with a fantastic session packed full of energy, excitement and fun. They practised a range of basketball skills and techniques, including dribbling, passing and shooting, while taking part in fast-paced games and challenges that kept everyone moving.
It was wonderful to see the children encouraging one another, building their confidence and giving every activity their very best.
There were smiles, laughter and plenty of teamwork throughout the session – a brilliant morning enjoyed by all!

A huge thank you to Chris and Basketball Wales for inspiring our young players and making Day 10 another unforgettable Food and Fun adventure! 🌟🏀

A reminder for parents for all of our Saint Carlo Acutis learners, which confirms what has previously been sent out. We will be sending out videos before the start of term detailing drop off and pick up arrangements. Thank you.
