Doncaster’s Remake Learning Days Festival is returning for 2026!

From bug hotel building and pond dipping, skateboarding and chocolate welding to STEM workshops, animal encounters, Harry Potter-style detective sessions and creative crafts… there’s something for every curious mind.

Doncaster Family Hubs are excited to be part of the fun! We’re hosting our usual fantastic sessions but some with a special twist - including our ‘Stickman’ storytelling and crafts sessions at selected hubs, and much more!

🍎It’s National Primary Offer Day!🍎

It’s a big day today for lots of our families with little ones as many receive their child’s primary school place offer! If you have applied for a primary place for this year, you should receive this via email. A fantastic 99% of children in Doncaster have been offered a place at one their preferred schools this year!

Starting their education journey brings a mixed bag of emotions. It can be exciting but also quite emotional and a little bit daunting.

The good news is that there are lots of ways you can help them at home to get ready for their first days this coming September.

We’ve got lots of resources on our Getting Ready for School webpage, as well as a fun challenge you can complete with them from now and through the summer to help them develop those key skills they need to start school 🙌
