Picky Eaters vs. Problem Feeders
What to look for, what to try, and where to find help

Tri-Base EFMP presents a Lunch & Learn with Ms. Candida Kent from Two Can Talk.

Does mealtime leave you with more questions than answers?

Is my child’s eating normal?

Will my child really eat when they’re hungry?

Our child eats so few foods that travelling or eating out is difficult. What can we do?

Why does my child struggle to stay at the table or refuse food?

Join us for a practical discussion about picky eating and feeding difficulties. Explore signs to look out for, common eating myths, and how oral motor skills, sensory experiences, and the mealtime environment can affect eating.

Learn strategies to try at home, what a feeding assessment involves, and where to go for help.

Date: 23 October 2026
Time: 1130–1300
Attend: In person at RAF Mildenhall M&FRC, Building 460, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Please feel free to bring your own lunch. Light refreshments will be available.

Open to all—families, professionals, and anyone interested in the topic. The event includes an approximately 45-minute presentation, with questions and answers as time permits.

Greetings Families:

Another set of sensory shopping at the BX dates are creeping up in time for Halloween!

24 October at RAF Lakenheath from 0900-1000
31 October at RAF Mildenhall from 0900-1000

Come join us for some fun crafts, scavenger hunting, sensory-related and/or fun activities. Get into the Halloween spirit, costumes HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. And of course, an opportunity to shop in a sensory-friendly environment with some fun people from RAF Lakenheath EDIS and your Tri-Base EFMP-FS team (RAFM and RAFL).

We hope to see you there…or Freddy Kruger will get you while you sleep during spooky month!! 👻🙃👻

Hey families:
Coming up soon is the EFMP Farm Day!
This is for EFMP - Q-Coded families only.

This is no ordinary farm: this farm has an Outdoor playground, Indoor play area, Wood walks, opportunities to interact (petting or feeding) the various animals on the farm, there may be an opportunity to see a pig race, and so much more!

Make sure you RSVP as spaces are limited!
Registration closes when full or by end of the day Wednesday 16 Sept ‘26.

Please note: The farm does have extras that you are welcome to purchase, if interested in any additional offerings. If your kiddo is a newborn up to 12 months, they are free (when RSVPing please do not include them in the family attending question).

If you have visiting family or friends, they can pre-pay on the Church Farm website below. Please let them know that it is cheaper to pre-pay than pay the day of attending.

Reporting live from the aftermath of another fun lazer tag event:

First, THANK YOU to all of the families that showed up and absolutely showed out!
Secondly, thank you to the RAF Mildenhall RNCO TSgt Sandoval; he helped with so much of the behind the scenes and front of the house planning and ex*****on!
Also, thank you to Combat Paintball for helping us with last minute pivots and facilitating the event.

The newly crowned 2026 Lazer Tag Champions pulled a TWO (2) kill upset against the 2025 Champions. It was a “you had to be there” type of situation!

To our 2025 Lazer Tag Champions, thanks for coming out for one last time. Even though you didn’t win, you executed “good sportsman-like conduct”! Good Luck on your PCS and safe travels!

We also started off the lazer fight with an Adults vs Kids Domination match to limber up and get the games started.
Before I announce who won that battle:
Please note: Us adults do lots and lots and we wanted to see the children flourish in this environment (we were also outnumbered). 😌

All jokes aside, the Kids absolutely CRUSHED us!

Again, thank you to all that came out to have some early weekend fun. Have a great weekend everyone!
