HOSEPIPE BAN - MESSAGE FROM ANGLIAN WATER
There's now a temporary use ban (better known as a hosepipe ban) in place for our region. Until these restrictions end, you can't use a hosepipe (or anything attached to a hosepipe like a pressure washer) for watering your garden, washing your car or cleaning your patio.
https://www.anglianwater.co.uk/help-and-advice/save-water/hosepipe-restrictions

Message from Anglian Water: "This year has been exceptionally hot and dry and we're already into the third heatwave of the summer. Our teams are working 24/7 to keep taps flowing across the region, but the prolonged hot weather is putting water supplies under pressure. Every extra day of hot weather makes it harder to balance supply and demand for water, making it more important than ever that everyone uses water wisely. River levels across the region are already low, so to help protect these essential water sources and make sure water is available for everyone, it's important we take action now."

Hanging up your hosepipe is one of the quickest and easiest way to use less water, as they can use more water in under 10 minutes than the average person typically uses in a whole day. You can still do many things you'd normally have done with a hosepipe by swapping to a watering can or bucket
