A huge thank you to all of our residents who came along to our Summer Fayre on Saturday and helped to make it such a success! The sun shone, the steel band played, there was crazy golf, magic and entertainment for the children, activities and crafts, animals, plants, tombolas and more! 😎

A big shout out, too, to Maya Street Food for stepping in at the last moment to help out with the food. 👏👏👏

And a massive well done, too, to the Walton Community Council staff for all the weeks of planning, organising and problem solving, and who brought it all together on the day to make it such a fabulous event for our community.

Charity of the year
Walton Community Council is delighted to report that MK SNAP has been selected as our Charity of the Year.

After careful consideration of the 7 charities that were nominated, we were impressed by the incredible work of MKSNAP, who provide support to people with learning disabilities and help them develop skills, confidence, and independence within the local community.

We are proud to have the opportunity to support MKSNAP’s mission over the coming year and look forward to working closely with their team and to assist them in raising funds and awareness for the valuable services they provide.
MK SNAP will have a stall at our Summer Fayre on Saturday, 20 June 2026, selling plants and raising awareness of their work, so please pop along and show your support too.

Congratulations MKSNAP!
