Great Linford's Little Free Book Exchange is a service that inspires a love of reading and builds community, through 24 hour free access to books in our neighbourhood. "Finding books that they enjoy, giving them access to those books and letting them read them," is what Neil Gaiman recommends to teach children how to read for pleasure. Growing our reading culture and community spirit is the aim of

this little box. The idea of taking a book to read and sharing it and returning it or giving a book you recommend - is how we get to know our neighbours and learn about the wider world. It's open 24 hours a day. Our Steward is Dionne Lakey. Our designer and engineer is Stewart Olney. We are part-funded and on site by permission of the Pear Tree Pond Association headed by Alan Senior. We are linked to "The Little Bookshop - Great Linford" by shared events and community. Please only donate one or two books at a time. Any books deposited next to the cabinet will be put in the skip.
