Estyn’s assessment of Flintshire Education services is damning. The inspectorate has said it causes “significant concerns”

🔶 The Flintshire Lib Dem group is demanding the immediate publication of the complete decision trail around the funding of the proposed new Catholic Super School, including who first proposed the arrangement, who authorised it, what discussions took place with the Diocese and governing bodies, and whether any contribution from them was ever requested.🔶
Cllr David Coggins Cogan said: ‘Labour is asleep at the wheel. We fully support and will continue to demand a fair and transparent process. As we highlighted already, clarity on the real costs to the council is paramount.
Our Group Leader on Flintshire county council Andrew Parkhurst sums it up 🔸“The previous process was halted and the Cabinet promised to reflect and improve. They have failed to do this. The only reasonable course of action is to halt the consultation yet again and start again looking at the correct evidence.”🔸
