Yesterday at Mold Market, officers checked 78 Blue Badges.

4 badges were seen which were invalid, 2 badges were seized immediately, and the other 2 badge holders will be contacted pending further investigations, 3 of the vehicles involved also received penalty charge notices. 🚨
Blue Badge checks help ensure spaces remain available for residents who genuinely need them. Thank you for supporting fair and accessible parking 💙

The planter troughs have been taken down at Bod Offa Drive this morning. They will be removed from the pavement and the soil spill cleared this evening. Councillors will discuss their location at the Council meeting next week.

💸 Flintshire Community Chest – Round 1 – CLOSING SOON ⭕

The fund provides grants to support community activity in Flintshire, with priority being given to smaller local organisations.

Recent grants have been awarded for gardening tools, sports equipment, building repairs, defibrillators, marketing for new activities, amongst other things.

Applications are being accepted from organisations that benefit people from Flintshire for projects fitting the following themes:

• Minor capital projects for example, building repairs and updating internal fixtures and fittings.
• Equipment (but not consumables)
• 1-off, Community-wide events
• Publicity / marketing.
• Training and awareness events/courses

Grants are available up to £1,000, but will only cover 75% of the total cost, so match funding is essential. Please note, the maximum amount of £1,000 can only be awarded once in a 2-year period.

🗓 The deadline to submit a Community Chest application for round 1 is May 25, 2026.

Tonight at Andy’s Man Club Mold, 28 men came through the door with 3 taking that brave first step for the very first time

They were welcomed with brews, biscuits, sweets, and some lovely homemade cakes too a proper warm atmosphere all round.

As always, it was a night of support, honesty, and lads sitting shoulder to shoulder just talking things through.

Same time, same place next Monday.
