Come along and join our friendly Social Prescribing team for our Caffi Isa Drop in!

Do you want to know if there is help or support available in the local community for you?

We are a free, confidential service that can help you to access support, for example, with:

• Meeting new people
• Financial, food or housing worries
• Mental wellbeing
• Connecting with the community
• Anything else that you would like information and/or advice with

Running every other Tuesday from 10am - 12pm.

Our next Babies, Children and Young People’s Network meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 7th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Location: Wrexham Rugby Club, Bryn Estyn Road, Wrexham, LL13 9TY

The network is an opportunity to engage and network with other third sector, local authority and health services supporting babies, children and families in the Flintshire and Wrexham areas.

♿ Flintshire residents invited to shape the future of walking, wheeling and cycling 🚲

Cyngor Sir y Fflint / Flintshire County Council is inviting residents to have their say on the future of walking, wheeling and cycling across the county as part of a statutory 12-week consultation on its updated Active Travel Network Map (ATNM).

Flintshire County Council’s vision is to create a network that makes walking, wheeling and cycling the most natural and convenient ways to travel for local everyday journeys.

Councillor Glyn Banks, Cabinet Member for Waste and Transportation, said:

“We want to hear from as many people as possible during this consultation to ensure the Active Travel Network Map reflects local priorities and helps us plan for a more sustainable for Flintshire.”

Under the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013, all local authorities in Wales are required to regularly review and improve their active travel networks. Flintshire's current Active Travel Network Map was approved by the Welsh Government in August 2022, and the Council has now reviewed the progress made over the past three years.

The map includes:

• Existing Routes - routes that already meet Welsh Government standards for walking, wheeling, cycling, or a combination of these.
• Future Routes - proposed new routes or existing routes that require improvements to meet the required standards.

The consultation will run for from 10th August to 2nd November 2026.
