We are delighted to launch a special edition of Rarity Life magazine to mark Dying Matters Week 2026 - a time dedicated to opening up conversations about death, dying, and what truly matters at the end of life.

This edition of Rarity Life includes a carefully curated collection of powerful, compassionate, and thought-provoking articles that explore the many dimensions of living well while facing mortality. From personal stories that reflect courage and connection, to expert insights on end-of-life care, grief, and planning ahead, this edition aims to break down stigma and encourage honest dialogue.

Dying Matters Week reminds us that talking about death isn’t about loss alone - it’s about celebrating life, relationships, and the values we hold closest. By sharing experiences and knowledge, we can empower individuals, families, and communities to approach these conversations with greater confidence and care.

We are delighted to once again open our doors for photoshoots to highlight the impact of rare disease on children. There is no charge and we will work with families to raise awareness of the condition but more importanty celebrate their child. We are also looking for participants to appear in a book that will be used to raise awareness, highlight that families are not on their own and educate healthcare professionals.

Photoshoots will take place in our studio in Mold, however, other shoots will be scheduled for other locations in the future.
