Mitcham Carnival is tomorrow!
We can’t wait to see you at Three Kings Piece.

Here’s what you need to know👇

🕚 Event time: 11am – 6pm
🎟️ Entry: Free (no booking required)

💃 The street parade will set off from Mitcham town centre at 12pm, making its way to Three Kings Piece.

📍Getting there
We strongly recommend walking or using public transport where possible.
- Buses serving the site: 45, 264, 270, 355
- Blue Badge parking is available on site by Gate A

🌳 For Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating our Veolia UK team who joined forces with young adults at Frog Learning to w**d their orchard and care for the pavilion.

🌱 By helping these trees thrive, we’re supporting biodiversity and creating a greener space for the whole community to enjoy.

🌳 We’re planning another series of colourful playground upgrades this summer, following on from the great new facilities in places like Miles Road Rec in this video.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We want to hear from the families and children who’ll use these new play spaces, helping to decide their final designs.

We’re kicking off a series of friendly engagement sessions tomorrow (Saturday 6 June) at the playgrounds at the heart of the action.

🐟 Pop down to Joseph Hood Rec any time from 10am until 2pm to learn more about our exciting plans for a new nautical play space and share your ideas with us. If you can’t make it tomorrow, don’t worry – you can also share your views in our short online survey.

This is just one of the playgrounds we’re looking to breathe new life into this summer.

Mitcham Carnival’s street parade is taking place this Sunday 7 June!

At midday, Mitcham town centre will come to life as the parade makes its colourful, music-filled journey to Three Kings Piece. ✨

With the Mayor of Merton leading the way, the parade features Panash Steel Orchestra, Urban Dance City, Mitcham Park Football Club, Merton Sea Cadets, and many more local groups bringing the energy. 💃

What time does it start?
⏱ Sets off at 12pm and lasts around 45 minutes.

Where can I watch?
📍 Catch it at Mitcham Fair Green or the Market Square.
🚶‍♂️ Follow along as it heads towards Three Kings Pond.
🎉 Then walk over to Three Kings Piece to join the main event.

This World Environment Day is a great time to bring your community ideas to life 🌱

To show what’s possible, the Mitcham branch of the Royal British Legion transformed a neglected outdoor space into an accessible garden for veterans and beneficiaries.

Raised beds have made it easier for everyone to take part — creating a space people can truly enjoy and take pride in.
