🐠🌊 Under the Sea Fun! 🌊🐠

Our children had a wonderful time exploring our Under the Sea sensory activity today! Using pincers, pipettes, and pouring tools, they carefully rescued sea creatures, transferred water, and investigated different textures and materials.

While the activity was lots of fun, it also supported important areas of development. Using pincers and pipettes helps strengthen the small muscles in children's hands and fingers, developing the fine motor skills needed for future writing and self-care tasks. Squeezing pipettes also improves hand strength and coordination.

Pouring and transferring water encourages concentration, hand-eye coordination, and early mathematical concepts such as volume, capacity, and cause and effect. Children were also developing their language skills as they talked about the sea creatures, described what they were doing, and shared their discoveries with friends.

Learning through play allows children to explore, investigate, and build confidence while having fun. We loved seeing their curiosity and excitement as they dived into their underwater adventure! 🐙🦀🐟

Are you looking for a warm, nurturing, and inspiring nursery for your child?

We currently have spaces available for children aged 0-5 years and would love to welcome new families to our wonderful nursery community this September! 🏡❤️

At our nursery, we believe childhood should be filled with creativity, exploration, and adventure. From arts and crafts, messy play, and imaginative activities to regular outings in the local community, we encourage children to learn through real-life experiences and discovery. 🎨🌳🚶‍♀️

One of the things that makes us unique is our mixed-age environment. By learning and playing together, younger children benefit from observing and learning from older children, while older children develop confidence, leadership skills, empathy, and a sense of responsibility as they help and support their younger friends. 👶🤝👧

Our mixed-age setting creates a family-like atmosphere where children build strong relationships, learn from one another, and grow together at their own pace. 🌟

🌟 Meet Our New Wonderland Teddy! 🧸✨

We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our Wonderland family! The children had a wonderful time helping to stuff our special bear, making a wish on his heart, and giving him a big cuddle to welcome him to Wonderland. ❤️

Each week, one of our children will take our teddy home to meet their family and enjoy a weekend full of adventures. They'll record their memories in our scrapbook, and when teddy returns to nursery, we'll share the stories together and talk about all the fun they've had. 📖🏡✨

There’s just one problem... our bear doesn't have a name yet! 🤔🐻

We need your help! Please ask your children what they think our new teddy should be called and comment your name suggestions below. We can't wait to see your ideas! 😃💬

Remember our tadpoles? 🐸

We wished them luck on their next adventure as they were put back in their home in the pond.

The children loved watching them grow from little eggs, to tadpoles, although we disnt get to see them as full frogs we will keep our eyes peeled for our little friends when we go to a pond.

Watching tadpoles grow into frogs helps young children understand life cycles and change. It encourages curiosity, observation, and early science learning in a simple, hands-on way.
