Please be advised that the use of disposable BBQs within Carlisle Park is strictly prohibited.

This measure is in place to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of all visitors. Disposable barbecues present a significant risk of burns, fire hazards, and damage to public facilities, particularly in areas used by children and families.

We kindly ask all members of the public to respect this restriction and help us maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Carlisle Park Toilets are currently closed due to vandalism (21st May 2026)
We received a report of a flood in the gents toilets, on arrival we found a smashed bottle leaving glass all over the floor, the sink had been blocked, a can of pop in the urinal which would appear to have been shaken before opening as there is coke on the ceiling and toilet seat. The toilets will remain closed until they have been fully serviced ready for reopening. We are currently reviewing CCTV on the toilet block and if necessary this will be reported to the Police.

This behaviour will not be tolerated, we have already had abusive behaviour towards staff, the toilets being left a mess due to the use of water balloons and a smashed toilet seat. The mindless actions of those involved put this public amenity at risk.
