Kings Heath Library will be closed on Monday 31st August for the bank holiday. The library will re-open as normal on Tuesday 1st September at 9am.

For 3 weeks only we have a very special Reading Group with author Wren James. There is no homework, no books to read in advance, simply come and read some stories together and have a chat. Wren will give you exclusive insight into the methods authors may use to achieve their effects.

Every Friday afternoon from 11th September. Places are limited so reserve your spot now!

Like the rest of the world, we were really sad when we heard this news. Not least because Dolly was such a champion of childhood literacy. A force for good who will be sadly missed.

We hope you all are enjoying your Summer!? It's been very hot but hopefully you have been able to spend time doing some lovely things. The holidays will soon be over but that means the return of Monday Morning Storytimes! Yaaayyy!

We will kick off on 7th September with a special Reading Challenge session so if you have been doing the Mini Reading Challenge then come along, show us your card full of stickers so that you can get your prize!!

Come along to join Read to the Beat Summer Reading Challenge this week at Kings Heath Library! Designed for children aged 4-11 years the fun begins when you sign up and register at the library or at www.summerreadingchallenge.org.uk
Children can register with their library cards & add their names to our Joiners Hall of Fame! 🎵🎶
Read 6 books to collect your stickers, medal, certificate & win some fantastic prizes!
We've also got a musical instrument treasure hunt trail with more prizes up for grabs!

Cool Welcome creative workshops are happening every Saturday at Kings Heath Library. These are free workshops for all the community. Come and join for fun, friendship and creativity to support your health and wellbeing. Drop-in sessions, 10:30am - 12pm.
