Active Norfolk have a new initiative starting in Mundesley on the 16th of June 2026. Bowl for Health is an 8-week, inclusive bowls programme designed to support adults (typically aged 40+) who may be living with long-term health conditions, experiencing physical inactivity, or feeling socially isolated. Sessions are friendly, flexible, and combine bowls with opportunities to socialise.

The parish council is happy to share the following update from Anglian Water:

"I wanted to let you know that the permanent repair of the burst sewer pipe next to the pumping station in Mundesley was completed last week.

As you know, this was a complex repair which required careful planning and engineering design. We’re very grateful to you and the local community for bearing with us whilst we completed this work."

By January 2027, the UK's old copper phone network will be switched off, area by area. For older or vulnerable residents, particularly those with telecare alarms or no mobile phone, the switch over may create confusion.

For any residents who have questions, an organisation called phonely is offering free advice to anyone with questions about how they will be affected. The team is available on freephone 0800 112 5000.
