Changes will be available at the upcoming Tranent information hub on Wednesday 24th June from 12noon - 2pm alongside a range of other services - come along to speak to us and find out what other supports are available in the area!

Refreshments and children's activities will be available.

*Changes East Lothian is a charity that aims to enable people (18+) to achieve and maintain good mental health and well-being through FREE support groups and courses, one-to-one therapy, and wellbeing activities.

🎉 Exciting News for East Lothian Residents! 🎉

Musselburgh Citizens Advice Bureau is delighted to announce that we have secured funding from the Energy Redress Scheme to deliver the East Lothian Energy Advice Project.

This new project will provide free, impartial and confidential energy advice to residents across East Lothian, helping people reduce energy costs, improve energy efficiency and access the support they need to stay warm at home.

Our dedicated Energy Advisers Matthew, Keith and George will be delivering support throughout East Lothian:

🏠 Home visits

🤝 Face-to-face appointments

📞 Telephone appointments

✉️ Email advice

A recent example of the difference energy advice can make

One local resident contacted us after receiving a series of confusing bills from their energy supplier and was worried they had been overcharged. Our adviser reviewed their account, contacted the supplier on their behalf and helped resolve a billing issue that had been ongoing for several months.

As a result, the supplier corrected the account, refunded charges that had been incorrectly applied and agreed a more manageable payment arrangement. The client told us they felt "relieved and supported" after struggling to deal with the issue alone.

Whether you need help understanding your energy bills, dealing with your supplier, improving your home's energy efficiency, understanding heating controls, exploring heat pump options or accessing grants and support, we're here to help.
