☀️🌦️ WE FOUND THE WEATHER WINDOW! 🌦️☀️

After weeks and weeks of dry weather, the rain has finally returned to Golden Valley — and it’s certainly been making up for lost time with some pretty hefty showers! 🌧️💦

So we were feeling rather lucky this morning when the clouds parted and gave us a perfect little window of dry, sunny weather for Golden Valley Playing Field junior parkrun #153. ☀️🙌

And 38 fantastic junior parkrunners made the most of it, running, jogging, walking and smiling their way around the course before the weather could change its mind! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🌳💚

What a scorcher for Golden Valley Playing Field junior parkrun #150 this morning! 🥵🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A brilliant 35 junior parkrunners joined us in the sunshine ☀️ and every single one did a fantastic job of coping with the heat — plenty of water 💦, sensible running and, most importantly, lots of smiles around the course! 😁👏
