Cuppa with a Copper - Drop in session 👮

Blaenhonddan Community Council is pleased to share details of the next ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ event on behalf of our local Neighbourhood policing team .

Do you have a question or concern about community safety or anti-social behaviour in the area? or do you just fancy a friendly chat with the officers who look after our neighbourhood?
Our Local PCSO will be hosting an informal , relaxed drop in session. No need to book, just turn up!

🔔SMALL GRANTS AVAILABLE 🔔

Blaenhonddan Community Council have set aside a small budget to support financial applications which will have a particular impact or benefit for the Communities of Blaenhonddan – Aberdulais, Bryncoch, Cadoxton, Caewern, Cilfrew and Waunceirch.

This does not preclude applications from organisations based outside the area, but they must consider and indicate the impact and benefits that a grant would bring to the Blaenhonddan area.
If your organisation/club has any proposed projects etc that you may not be able to fully finance from within your own budget, perhaps you would like to consider applying for a grant from Blaenhonddan Community Council.

The Council’s policy is to consider such applications in April and October of each year, strictly on receipt of an application form in the preceding month. Please note, The Council is unable to make grants to individuals.

Sharing on behalf of Neath Port Talbot Council

Help us understand dementia support in Neath Port Talbot

We are currently carrying out a Dementia Support Review and we want to hear from people with lived experience of dementia support.

Whether you are living with dementia, caring for someone who is, supporting a family member, or have experience of dementia services, your views can help us better understand:

✅ What is working well
✅ What good support looks like
✅ The challenges people face
✅ What could make the biggest difference in the future

This is a listening and evidence-gathering exercise. No decisions have been made, and taking part will not affect anyone's services or support. Feedback will be combined with responses from others and reported anonymously.

Over the coming weeks, local councillors and review team members will be speaking with residents across Neath Port Talbot. If you would like to take part, please respond to one of the councillor posts, or contact the review team directly.
