IMPORTANT PLEASE READ...
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you all for your continued support and trust over the past six years. It’s been a true privilege to run The Hive 55 and be a part of your children’s daily lives. There have been so many wonderful moments, and I’m genuinely grateful for each and every one.
Like many small businesses, we’ve also faced some challenges along the way. Unfortunately, unpaid childcare fees running into the thousands, have made it increasingly difficult to keep the business running. Despite my best efforts and personal investment to cover ongoing costs, this situation is no longer sustainable.
With a heavy heart, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close The Hive 55 permanently at the end of this term. I want to assure you that this decision hasn’t been made lightly.
Looking ahead, I’m pleased to let you know that Barrowford Primary School will be taking over the breakfast and after school club provision. I’m confident they will continue to offer the same care, support, and fun your children have come to enjoy.
Important Dates to Note:
Final day for After School Club: Thursday, 17th July 2025
Final day for Breakfast Club: Friday, 18th July 2025
To help bring everything to a close smoothly, I kindly ask that all outstanding fees be paid by Saturday, 20th July 2025. Any unpaid fees after this date will be referred to a debt collection agency, who will contact the individuals concerned directly.
It’s been an absolute joy to be part of the Barrowford community, and I will miss you all greatly. Thank you again for your kindness, loyalty, and for sharing your amazing children with us over the years.
