Despite the bad weather report and a morning that started with heavy rain, the sun came out and the first load was up at 8:30.

Due to the bad weather forecast, a round of the regular event was accomplished before the Meet Director decided to get one round of the mixed team event in the air.

Yesterday, we had 10 new international records, both World and Continental, and today, we have four new records in the mixed team event, although the records have not yet been ratified.

Now back to the regular event, with round 5 completed.

Armed Forces Champs 2025 - a super strong showing from the AMS / RAMS crew! Here’s some of our fabulous competitor faces! (Vids to follow next week!)

12 in our AMS team (11 serving and Dave superstar veteran RAMC on 4way camera), the biggest AMS team we’ve had in 20 years!

AMSSPA sports afternoon tunnel camp 💪🏻

Such a good session introducing some of our AMS skydivers to the wind tunnel facility, and progressing every single person in freefall. The wind tunnel is a great training aid for skydiving, but also indoor Skydving is a competitive discipline in its self (Lt Col Lea recently returned from competing at the World Championships, and there a plans afoot for an Armed Forces Indoor Skydiving Championships Winter 2025).

Speedy time!!

Well done to Harrison & Anna Lea who both competed at the Speed Skydiving National Championships at Skydive Netheravon - Home of the Army Parachute Association this weekend - both made huge progress, both adding 30kph to their previous average speeds from the Armed Forces Champs last month, and Anna won overall, beating some heavyweight gents too, with an average of 430kph (267mph) and setting a new British Female record of 440kph (273mph).
