📚 Back to school means a change to our opening hours! ☕️

As the school holidays come to an end, we’ll be returning to our usual opening days of Friday–Sunday.

✨ One little exception: we’ll also be open on Monday 7th September.

So if you’re looking for one last coffee, breakfast, lunch or sweet treat before the school routine begins, come and see us! 🥰☕️🍰

We’ll see you Friday–Sunday from then on! 💛

POLITE NOTICE

Due to the recent (and glorious!) weather, the Council has made the difficult decision to temporarily pause the operation of the High Lea Park fountain.

This is to play our part in conserving the much needed water levels in our lovely peaks.

The fountain will resume its duty as soon as possible :)

🎨✨ Something a little special at the café! ✨🎨

We’re delighted to have a selection of paintings by Brian Nolan displayed around the café at High Lea Hall. 🖼️

The paintings are hung throughout the café and museum, so you can enjoy Brian’s artwork while relaxing with a coffee, a bite to eat and taking in the beautiful surroundings of High Lea Hall. ☕🍰🌿

The paintings will be on display from 28th July until 14th September 2026, and the café is open every day from 11am–4pm.

Why not pop in, grab a cuppa and have a look around? 💛

We're delighted to welcome The HandleBards back to High Lea Hall with their hilarious outdoor performance of Macbeth!

Expect Shakespeare with a twist – packed with comedy, energy, and plenty of laughs in the beautiful surroundings of the park.

Before the show, why not pop into the café for a hot drink, homemade cake, or a light bite? We'll have plenty of delicious treats ready to enjoy before the performance begins. ☕🍰

Who's joining us for an evening of Shakespeare under the open sky? 🌳✨

This special performance has been organised by the Rock Mill Centre as a fundraising event to help support the centre and its ongoing work in the local community. Every ticket sold helps make a difference, so thank you for your support. ❤️

Here’s how it works:

🦋 Find all the hidden butterflies around the park
✔️ Tick them off as you go
🎁 Return your completed map to the café to claim your prize!
