"A perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon" 💞 Bad Betty Press

We couldn't have said it better! We had a great time today at Inspire Mansfield Central Library celebrating the work of local poets including those who participated in the Bad Ideas Club workshops this summer.

From established local voices to first-time performers, every poet brought words that were inspirational, thought-provoking, and sometimes very silly!

The fun is far from over! Book your spot now for our Into the Everyday workshop with poet Georgina Wilding, where you'll use prompts and guided writing exercises to explore the theme of wonder and create exciting new poems.

Happy day 2! 🎉📖

We had a fantastic evening at our first event last night at Inspire West Bridgford Library , showcasing acclaimed poet Paul Farley and his Desert Island Poems. He was in conversation with the lovely Clare Brown of Bromley House Library (check out his picks below!), before reading from his own award-winning work.

Experience more of Paul's work in his latest release When It Rained for a Million Years, available to reserve now on our library catalogue! 👉 https://bit.ly/4hmjBsl
