The wonderful folk at Notfast running club are organising a fab event on September 6th called 'The Ponton Plod'. It is a running (or walking) event that covers distances from 10km all the way up to a marathon distance. The aid stations are stocked with plenty of delightful goodies and the best new is they're raising money for Friends of Newark Orchard School Friends of Newark Orchard School. So if you fancy a well organised walk or run, then follow the link to sign up and have a great day out!!

Scenic trail routes from Great Ponton through picturesque Lincolnshire villages, using footpaths, bridleways, and quiet country roads toward the Vale of Belvoir.

On Tuesday, we held Prom to celebrate our Year 13s who are leaving us at the end of the week. The theme this year was Disney, and everyone turned out in all their finery!

We wish all of our leavers the very best. Whether you're going to college or into work, we know you'll give it your all. Good luck, we will miss you!

Today our school was gifted the most beautiful piece of art from Georgia. I don’t often find myself lost for words, but this truly stopped me in my tracks. Such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture. Thank you ❤️

A reminder - the Friends of Newark Orchard summer fair is on tomorrow 11am -1pm with some adaptations due to the weather. The fair will no longer be in the field and will take place in the hall. We will do our best to control the temperature with our air conditioning units, we hope to see you then!
