Have you noticed the new gating at Sconce and Devon Park?

We are continuing to invest in one of our districtโ€™s most loved green spaces with new security gating designed to:

โœ”๏ธ Improve safety for visitors
โœ”๏ธ Reduce anti-social behaviour
โœ”๏ธ Protect the parkโ€™s natural environment

Thanks to funding from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner with around ยฃ45,000 committed specifically to improving safety at the park.

The new gating will help prevent unauthorised vehicle access, caravans, horse and traps and late-night gatherings, keeping this much-loved green space safe and welcoming for everyone.

These improvements build on other recent enhancements at Sconce and Devon Park, including the Forest Schools classroom, new castleโ€‘themed play area, fitness equipment, and ongoing habitat and environmental works.
