Sherwood Forest Hospitals are exploring how their three hospital sites (Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield Community Hospital, Newark Community Hospital) should continue to develop over the coming years. They are interested in understanding what matters most to local communities so that clinicians and operational teams can take these views into account alongside clinical evidence, workforce and sustainability considerations.

Community Summer Fete! 🎉

The Dakota fly pass was absolutely spectacular ✈️💙 and the line dancing 💃 plus Middlebeck Gymnastics 🤸‍♂️ and singing by the Ghost Hunters brought so much energy to the field!

A massive shout‑out to Allen Farms for the sausages 🌭 and hay bales 🌾, and to every single volunteer who helped — especially the brilliant Friends of Coddington School- FCS, the 1st Coddington Scout Group , Coddington C of E Primary School and the Community First Aid team 🙌.

Enormous thanks to Reverend Phil ⛪️ for compering the event, and to Quayle Industries Limited for the fab drone pictures (more of these to come!).

Huge thanks to our stall holders, the fire service 🚒, Bounceabout 🎪, the Face painter and the YMCA for keeping everyone smiling all day.

🌞 We hope you all had an incredible time — what a day for our village! 💛

Entrance through the Coddington Community Centre car park, over the bridge.
