Year 3 have started their English and the work on ‘Leon and the Place Between’ with an imaginary circus in the classroom - a circus tent, some wild animals and popcorn to help the writing and ideas flow!

🌴🌺 What a fantastic evening! 🌺🌴

Last night, our wonderful Year 6 pupils celebrated their leavers' party with a brilliant tropical beach-themed evening! 🏖️☀️

The children had an amazing time enjoying party games, showing off their singing skills at karaoke, and seeing who could go the lowest in the limbo! 🎤🎉🌺

It was a fun-filled night full of laughter, smiles, and special memories as we celebrated the end of their primary school journey. We are so proud of each and every one of them and wish them all the very best as they prepare for their next adventure.

Good luck, Year 6 – we'll miss you! 💙🌟

I am writing from Yarnbird Arts, we’re a theatre company visiting Newcastle Library on Tuesday 11 August at 2.30pm with our affordable family theatre show, Footy Fairy Tales.

This storytelling performance aimed at children aged 4-11 asks: what happens when football and fairy tales collide? Blending the nation’s love of football with imaginative storytelling, music and song, the show spreads a positive message about kindness to others, being true to yourself and believing in your goals. Tickets are just £3 for the first child, 50p for any siblings, and adults and under 3s go free. It is recommended to book in advance at the library desk.

🎉 What a fantastic day! Today, our Year 6 pupils had an amazing time tubing as part of their Leavers' Treat! 💙

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories as they enjoyed this well-deserved adventure together. It's been wonderful to celebrate such a special group of children as they prepare for their next exciting chapter.

We hope you all had the best time—you've certainly earned it! 🌟
