We'd like to congratulate Cpl Joanna Glanville on achieving her D1 Minibus Diving Licence this week. Following a week of paid training at Leconfield Joanna passed the test yesterday.

Being in the band offers more than worldwide travel and the chance to play music to massive audiences! We're also able to offer opportunities for car, minibus, coach and HGV training. These essential skills enable the band to train but also give our musicians wider opportunities in the civilian workplace.

Interested? Let us know in the comments or drop us a message.

🎓 Good luck to all students receiving their A Level results today!

From everyone in The Band of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, we’re wishing you the best of luck as you open those envelopes. Whatever your next steps may be, we hope today marks the start of an exciting new chapter.

If you’re heading to one of the northern universities - Newcastle, Northumbria, or Durham - and you play a musical instrument, you might consider joining us. The Fusiliers Band offers a unique opportunity to perform at high profile events, develop your musicianship, and get paid to play on a part time basis while you study.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you. 📩 [email protected]

Best of luck today - and perhaps we’ll see you in the band hall soon.

The British Army use tubas as the bass instrument of the marching band. Our tuba players were fascinated by the sousaphones of the 338th Army Band from the United States and Eddie couldn't wait to have a go!

The band had such a busy time in The Netherlands last week that we'd almost forgotten it's only a fortnight ago since the first week of our Annual Camp. From our base in Otterburn we played at 12 schools, 2 hospitals and a relay race in Newcastle and Northumberland.
