Next weekend head to Northumberland Park for the inaugural Northumberland Park Dog Show - Saturday 5 September 2026 11am - 3pm at the events field.
Register your dog into a category via the QR code below by 5pm on Friday 4 September, or on the day - please bring CASH, 10.30 - 12 at the Registration table.

Lots to do at Northumberland Park over the summer - starting with Summer Celebration Event tomorrow, Saturday 25 July 11am - 3pm - see timetable below for details and bring cash for the tombola, raffle and other interesting items.
In August we have Guided Nature Walks every Thursday, Solar Viewing Event on Friday 7th, a Scavenger Hunt, Lead by North Shields Library on Monday 10th, and Family Fun Day on Friday 14th.
Details of our Self-Led Trails - Poetry Trail, Butterfly Trail and Bee Trail to follow.

The fantastic team at Redburn and Chirton Dene (Royal Quays Parks) have claimed back the Green Flag!! Well done to all involved 🥰👏

Happy to announce that Northumberland Park has been awarded the Green Flag for 2026/2027 which has been raised on the flagpole at Tynemouth Road entrance.
We also have a visitor over the summer in the shape of Peter Rabbit as part of the St Oswald's Hospice Trail - hopping for joy!
You can have a look at both of these excellent additions anytime -such as when you join us for the Bee Walk on 18 July or the Summer Celebration on 25 July! Ah go on!

The main gates into Northumberland Park on King Edward Road, North Shields are closed for public access whilst repairs are carried out to the stone work.
