🎶 CALLING ALL BANDS & MUSICIANS! 🎶

We’re looking for local bands, solo artists and musicians to help make this year’s Thursdays extra special!
Throughout the summer holidays, we’ll be hosting live music sessions every Thursday from 5pm and would love to hear from performers interested in gifting a gig and supporting our community events programme.

We’re keen to showcase a wide variety of musical styles and performers so whether you’re acoustic, indie, jazz, folk, rock, pop, classical or something completely unique — we’d love to hear from you!

Interested? Send us a message or email on [email protected] with:
🎵 A little bit about you
🎵 Your style of music
🎵 Any links/videos if you have them

Help us bring music, creativity and fun to the Summer Reading Challenge! ☀️📚

Please note: we truly appreciate everyone who gets in touch, but unfortunately we won’t be able to host every act.

This fantastic design was chosen by Newcastle Libraries staff from all the amazing entries submitted to our competition. ✨🤩

A huge thank you to everyone who entered. The standard of entries was incredible, and you made the judging process extremely difficult with so many creative and inspiring designs. We loved seeing all your ideas!
