Plantpots Playgroup/Preschool Our Story

At Plantpots Montessori Nursery we help chíldren learn through play with a particular emphasis on free flow outdoor play.

Plantpots Playgroup/Preschool is an Ofsted registered nursery school for children aged 9 months to 5 years, based at Great Park Community Centre, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. We are based at the Great Park Community Centre, Gosforth, and take children aged between 2-5 years. Our hours are from 9am-3pm, Monday to
Friday, term time only, with wrap-around care provided between 8-9am and 3-4pm. The

preschool room is Led by a qualified teacher and we are fully Ofsted registered. Government grants are accepted, Including those for eligible two year olds. Our Vision

Summer offers endless opportunities for exploration, discovery and wonder. From caring for plants and observing insects to outdoor adventures and hands-on learning, our children are embracing the season through curiosity and connection with the natural world.

At Plantpots Playgroup and Preschool, we believe some of the most meaningful learning happens where children are able to move freely and follow their own interests and develop a lifelong love of nature.
