This weekend we passed an incredible 5,000 screenings of the People’s Emergency Briefing film on the map.

Tens of thousands of people in communities and workplaces coming together to do the job the government ought to be doing… Briefing the public about the threats from the climate & nature crisis - and the huge opportunities that will flow from genuine emergency action.

We are asking the Prime Minister to treat people like adults and hold an emergency briefing to the nation, delivered by independent experts.

We CAN rise to this challenge, but first we need leaders with the courage to face it.

Amazing to see support across so many political parties.

Did you miss this on Monday? It is rare to see Labour, Tory, Lib Dem and Green politicians all signing the same letter. The fact they have done so tells you how strongly Parliament feels.

A busy week of making connections and solving local problems! 💚🙌

Our latest Green Tea social was full of energetic discussion of AI, El Nino and nurdles, and last weekend, we were out and about litter picking in Shiremoor with our local lead campaigner Caron Kirkham, making the most of the glorious sunshine to do some good in our community.
