I was pleasantly surprised to see this! I expect the Japanese fans to clear up after themselves but to see the Scots doing the same is very impressive!

Locals and city workers have been left completely stunned by the Tartan Army's absolute class.

A city worker cleaning up after Scotland fans had been partying in Fenway, where he said around 2,000 supporters had been drinking and enjoying themselves.

But instead of finding the place wrecked, he said the area had been left so clean he didn’t even need help tidying up.

One Scotland fan explained the mentality perfectly, saying it was simply about respect: “Just to tidy up a bit of rubbish before you go, it’s nothing.”

And Boston locals seem to have taken to the Scots in a big way, calling them “super respectful and friendly”, with one comment asking: “Can we adopt them?”

Undefeated on the away days. 💙

To be fair we had to look quite hard to find any litter! Well done West Allotment, very clean and tidy!

Caron and the team were out in West Allotment today for a productive litter pick! 💚♻️

As the Green Party’s lead campaigner in Shiremoor and West Allotment, Caron is passionate about keeping the neighbourhood tidy, protecting the environment and working hard to make a difference for the local community.

Thanks to all the local members who joined today’s big tidy up; what a team effort. If you see us out and about on future litter picks, pop over and say hello; we’ve always got spare gear and the more the merrier! 💪

Now, a shorter, more approachable film version, presented by Chris Packham, is spreading across the country.

The People’s Emergency Briefing is bringing people together in communities, workplaces, churches and other local venues to watch, discuss and better understand the risks facing the UK from the climate and nature crisis - and the enormous benefits if we take urgent action.
