Last year Newmarket had a record number of fire calls with 654.

Today we responded to our 655th call of the year and we still have 3 months to go!

It’s been a very busy year and both the Wholetime and On-call crews have worked extremely hard to protect the communities we serve. We’d like to say a huge thank you to the community for their on going support and to all of the families of the crew, we couldn’t do it without you!

If you are interested in joining the On-call crew we currently have a couple of vacancies that don’t come up often! We are hosting an open day at the station for you to meet the crew, find out about the role and recruitment process and see a few drills and demos.

Please come down on the 26th October we are here from 12:00 - 15:00.
