🎥 Coming Together for Cancer

On 1st July, more than 70 of you joined us at The Riverside Centre, Newport, to hear what 229 Island residents told us about their experiences of cancer services, and to talk about what needs to change.

This short film, produced by NOSY Creative Agency, captures a summary the day: the findings, the panel discussion, and above all the honesty and warmth of everyone who took part.

Thank you to everyone who shared their experience, attended on the day, or supported the event. This is your voice, and it's already being heard by the people who plan and deliver cancer care on the Island.

Have you or someone you love been affected by cancer on the Isle of Wight? This is your opportunity to have your voice heard - and to get answers.

Join us at Coming Together for Cancer - a free public event on Wednesday 1st July, 10am to 3pm at The Riverside Centre, Newport, Isle of Wight.

Over 229 Island residents shared their experiences of cancer services. On 1st July we'll be presenting those findings for the first time - and you'll be able to put your questions directly to a panel of senior NHS and health professionals, including clinicians from St Mary's and leaders from Wessex Cancer Alliance.

The day also includes information and support stalls, afternoon tea, a live choir performance, and wellbeing taster sessions.

Free to attend. All welcome.
