We're very proud to call St Newlyn East our home, and this afternoon it was Keith's pleasure to pop to the Parish Show to present the brand new Lappa Valley Youth Shield.

It was presented to Emma, who achieved the show's highest U18 score for her entry - which was a really impressive animation.

Well done Emma, all the entrants and organisers of the show today!

If you're a Lappa Valley Member, you can book your tickets to our famous Fireworks Spectaculars RIGHT NOW - before they go on general release on Friday.

Check your email for details, or log into your membership account on the booking system to reveal the tickets.

Tickets go on general release at 10am on Friday.

Ellie elegantly steams into East Wheal Rose, framed by lush Cornish countryside and families enjoying the Pedalo Swans on the Boating Lake.

We thought we'd share our official film from last year’s Fireworks Spectaculars once again.

Two unforgettable evenings filled with happy families, spectacular fireworks and that very special Lappa Valley atmosphere. Watching it back brings so many wonderful memories flooding back – and we can’t wait to do it all again this October!

Tickets for this year’s Fireworks Spectaculars will be released soon:

🎆 Lappa Valley Members: 10am on Monday 31st August
🎆 General Release: 10am on Friday 4th September

This year’s events take place on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October. They sell out every year, so make a note in your diary and be ready when tickets go on sale!

Percy is such a Lappa Valley superfan, he's even memorised the safety announcement we play before the train departs Benny Halt - word for word!

He's certainly giving our existing voiceover person Steven a run for his money.
