This device is predominantly used during the placement of an endotracheal tube to secure a patient’s airway but also used for other invasive airway procedures. The image shows an assortment of Laryngoscope types and sizes.

Newly released statistics show that the first six months of 2026 were busy for your crew, who were tasked to 470 missions.

Our figures show that 192 of those were trauma incidents, 146 were medical related incidents, 127 were cardiac arrests and 5 inter-hospital transfers were also carried out.

It is thanks to you and your incredible ongoing support that we can continue to be there, 365 days a year, for those who are critically ill or injured right across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Thank you. 🚁❤️
