We can't let Summer pass without celebrating Newquay Library. These figures show that the library remains a valued community space and an important council service, used by thousands of residents and visitors every month!👏
-A record 10,494 visitors came through our doors in July.
-So far in August, we've welcomed 8,802 visitors, already surpassing last August's total of 8,274.
-650 children have signed up to the Summer Reading Challenge, exceeding last year's total of 617.
-More than 100 children attended author events with Clemo Books and took home signed books.
-At Boardmasters, 170 people took part in our surveys and competitions, helping shape the future of Newquay Library.
Whether it's encouraging children to read, providing activities and events, or simply offering a welcoming place to spend time, Newquay Library continues to play an important role in the community. Thank you to everyone who has visited and supported the library this summer.
