The Mission consists of Masses and Evening Services with a theme celebrated at each Mission Mass.

🌟 Welcome Back! 🌟

We hope everyone has enjoyed a lovely summer break.

School will open at 8:45am on Tuesday 1st September 2026 for pupils from P2 to P7.

Our new P1 pupils and their parents/carers will meet with their teacher on Thursday 27th August. Families have already received details of their individual meeting times and start dates.

We can't wait to welcome both new and returning pupils back to school and look forward to a fantastic year of learning, growth and fun together.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Anthony Havern, David Treanor and all at Thomas Davis Newry GAC for their incredible support throughout the school year!

We are absolutely thrilled with their very generous donation of a brand-new set of Gaelic nets. The children are already excited to use them and they will certainly be kept busy during PE and break times! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We are looking forward to more fantastic coaching sessions with Thomas Davis next year. 🌟

🎪 What a way to wrap up Nurture Week! 🎪

Looking back at last week, we are still smiling about our incredible Carnival Enterprise Fun Day! 🍿✨

Our classes turned into mini-entrepreneurs, using a generous £25 seed money donation from Dennison Commercials to design and create their own brilliant carnival stalls. The creativity on display was absolutely wonderful! 💡🎟️

We have some very special successes to celebrate from the afternoon:
🏆 Entrepreneurial Spirit & Creativity: A huge well done to Primary 4 and Primary 7B, who were handpicked by the team at Dennison Commercials for their outstanding ideas and enthusiasm!
💰 Top Profit Makers: A massive congratulations to Primary 5 for making the single biggest profit on the day! Fantastic business skills, everyone!

A little bit of wet weather tried to join the party, but it certainly didn't dampen our spirits. It was a truly brilliant afternoon filled with laughter, fun, and amazing teamwork. 🌧️🥳

Nurture Week's Whole School Breakfast was filled with full tummies and happy chats, enjoyed by our children, nursery, staff and our supporting friends at Dennison Commercials.

We want to extend a massive thank you to the incredible local businesses whose generosity made this morning possible:

🍦 Sweet Treats & Sunshine for Nurture Week! ☀️

Last week, our school celebrated Nurture Week, taking time to focus on kindness, wellbeing, and looking after one another.

To kick things off on Monday, the whole school was treated to a very special surprise—delicious ice-cream wafers! 🍦 The children had a wonderful time relaxing on the grass together, soaking up the beautiful sunshine, and sharing smiles with their friends.

✨ Reflecting on Nurture Week! ✨

Last week, our school community celebrated Nurture Week, focusing on wellbeing, connection, and care.

We kicked off the celebrations on Monday with wonderful 'Stay and Play' sessions in the Happy Hub! Children from every class had the opportunity to spend some special time exploring, relaxing, and connecting in our nurture room.

It was lovely to see so many smiling faces sharing, playing, and supporting one another. Stay tuned as we share more highlights from our fantastic week! 💙🌟
