ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOTICE from The McKenzie Family:

We, the family of the Late Dave McKenzie, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude to the relatives, friends, neighbours and wider community who sympathised with us and supported us in our recent sudden bereavement.
To all who attended the funeral, called at the home, brought and prepared food, sent cards, flowers, donations, telephoned or helped in the smallest way we say a huge Thank You to each and every one of you.
We deeply appreciate your prayers, expressions of sympathy, kindness and thoughtfulness to our family.
Thank You to Pastors Alan McCann and Gary Sweetman, for all their pastoral care and love to Dave over the past few years and especially around the time of Dave s passing. They brought a tremendous strength and support to us all
A very special thank you for conducting such a beautiful funeral Service, and for the fitting poignant tribute to Dave.
We are very grateful to the Worship team for their beautiful ministry in song and Markethill Elim Leadership for their support to us as a family.
To the Ambulance Service who attended to Dave so quickly and diligently and with such respect and dignity, we say a heartfelt Thank You.
To our wonderful family and friends we hope you know how thankful we are for the support and continued care and love you still give to us.
We trust that you will all somehow know how much we value your love, care and support for both Dave and us as a family.
Many thanks to Bessbrook Presbyterian Church for the loan of their church hall, for the funeral teas and to William Conn, Simply Good Catering for the lovely refreshments.
Thanks also to the staff and pupils of Mullaglass Primary School for their lovely tribute outside the church before the committal. The school played such a big role in Dave's life and seeing the children all lined up would have made him immensely proud. And a special mention to school principal Paul Greenaway as a friend and boss to Dave over the past few years - it was a relationship he appreciated greatly.
A special word of thanks to David Hanna of Altnaveigh Pipe Band who piped Dave to his final resting place in a beautiful tribute with his national anthem.
Our deepest thanks must go to Daniel Mallon Funeral Directors, for their thoughtfulness and professionalism.
Daniel ensured all the arrangements were carried out with both dignity and precision and cared for us as a family in such a sensitive and supportive way.
Finally, thank you to everyone who gave donations in lieu of flowers for Evora Hospice in Dave's memory. The donations raised £2500 for a fantastic cause.
Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude.
