💡Youth club tuck shop 🍕🍊🍬

We have currently paused our tuck shop whilst we review how and what we provide on youth club nights.
We know our members enjoy buying sweets but prices are increasing all the time and it’s getting harder to find low cost treats to offer for sale, we have noticed not everyone has money to spend and we also see changes in behaviour at youth club when highly processed sweets and drinks are consumed.
Our Tuesday group often cook sweet and savoury food together and we’ve been providing free squash and snacks on Wednesdays.
So the question is what do you think we should be offering in sessions? We’d love to hear your ideas, we’ve already had some good suggestions to explore but would like to hear more. Tell us in sessions, send us a message or have a chat if you’re dropping off/collecting.

🎄Last week of youth club before Christmas! 🎄
We’ll be finishing on Wednesday 17th December with a Disco 🪩 for our 8-11 yr old group and will reopen from 5th January.
We’ve had a fantastic time this term and want to thank everyone who’s joined us and our local community for the support we’ve received.

We were doing baking and playing bingo last night.
Today our Tuesday group have very kindly been invited to visit the church bell tower with the bell ringers.
This week our Wednesday group will have the opportunity to get creative with clay which will be fired for the them to glaze in a couple of weeks time.

Unfortunately we have had to postpone our AGM that was due to be held on the 6th November, a new date will be announced at the beginning of the year. We will be holding a planning meeting this coming Tuesday with our young members age 11+ to decide what activities they would like to participate in from January onwards.
Wednesday 7th we will have a glow stick dance off for our 8 -11 yr old group.
