We are having a book sale related to all things railways on Saturday the 19th September, from 9am-3.30pm. Books will be for sale from as low as 50p, as well as some other fantastic brand new books for various prices. Make sure you pop in and grab yourself a bargain!

This year's Railway Studies and Modellers Show takes place on Saturday 14th November, 10am-4pm.

We'll be joined by a number of exhibitors, traders and layouts including Moor Boxes who will be bringing a selection of box file layouts. Find out more about Moor Boxes here: moorboxes.neocities.org/aboutLinks

Admission to the show is just £3 per person on the door, under 16s go free! Make sure to save the date and we'll look forward to seeing you there!

A reminder that due to an event, the Railway Studies Library will be unavailable for quiet study from 3pm this Thursday 27th August until 1pm on Friday 28th August.

The Brunel room will be made available during these times as an alternative quiet study area.

We are holding a railway book sale in September to raise money for the Railway Studies Collection and are looking for donations. If you have any railway related books you've been trying to find homes for we would gratefully receive them. Summer activities coming up this week at the library!

🏁 Mario Kart Competition, Tuesday and Saturday from 10am-12pm. Beat the time trial, just £1 a go! Only 3 more sessions before the end of the holidays, the last session runs next Tuesday 1st September - don't miss out!

🚂 Railway Day, this Friday from 9am-12:30pm. Free, drop-in railway themed activities for all ages including brio, Lego, railway jigsaw and colouring activities. Plus a free drop-in drawing workshop from 10:30-12:30pm for ages 5+
