Stover was recently contacted by Sophy, who has been working on a project exploring people's relationships with landscape:
"Over the last few years I've been working on a photography and writing project exploring the Teign Valley. Last year I connected with a researcher at the University of Staffordshire, and together we received funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to expand it into a wider independent research project exploring people's relationships with the local landscape, including the clay industry and its impacts on the area (historic and present).
Once this first phase of the research is complete, we're hoping to apply for further UKRI funding to develop a larger programme of research and community engagement around the area's clay heritage. To help shape that next stage, we'd be really grateful if people who live in the Teign Valley area could spare a few minutes to complete a short online survey.
The survey is anonymous and takes around 5 minutes to complete.
