🍎 APPLE DAY CANCELLATION NOTICE 🍎
We are very sorry to announce that Apple Day, originally planned for Sunday 11th October in the orchard in Noss, has been cancelled.
Nature had other plans this year! Due to the long hot summer, there will not be enough apples left on the trees or in storage to run our pressing and community activities.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our local orchard.
We hope to see you all next year.

Crabbing Code of Conduct
Help us keep our beautiful river safe, clean, and full of life! We have launched a new Crabbing Code of Conduct to protect our local wildlife while keeping crabbing fun for everyone. Simple changes, like keeping your bucket in the shade and restricting crabs to only 3 in a bucket at a time, make a massive difference. See full Crabbing Code below.

Community Speed Watch
One of the top issues identified by parishioners in the Parish survey is speeding in our narrow lanes through the villages. As a response to this need, the first group of Community Speed Watch (CSW) volunteers have been trained by Devon and Cornwall Police and authorised to conduct speed monitoring. A first offence will result in a letter from D&C Police, second and subsequent offences will potentially lead to fines, loss of licence and a personal visit from the Police.
The local CSW team will be out this week.
