Last day of the month, there is still time to help us reach out August goal. Thank you to all who have contributed this month.

Welcome, Friends of Frugaldom. Your support is much appreciated, as is your any hewhile visiting. There are always wildlife feeding stations to replenish, water buckets to fill and hay nets to stuff for ponies and goats. Help us keep the project going by contributing monthly as Friends of Frugaldom.

HUGE THANK YOU to all who helped us achieve our August goal of affording and completing the new, greatly improved, goat shelter for Bach and Vincent Van Goat - 2 of our sanctuary residents.

The resident kitties have been cat napping in all sorts of places during the recent hot weather. Visitors please note that although two of them are now fairly friendly, these are strays and ferals who wander at will.

Our wildlife hide is proving very popular, especially as the resident pine martens are choosing to visit the feed stations during daylight hours. Friends of Frugaldom can now come along, park up for the night and make use of the facilities available. (No dogs allowed in huts or hide)

A few pony pics from the past couple of days, for those asking how 'the littles' are doing. Rain has returned, so expect to see the 'mud monsters' soon. 😀

Sadly, we have come to the conclusion that we can no longer accommodate campervan or motorhome visitors with dogs. After yet another incident involving a highly reactive dog with no recall getting loose and giving chase, the decision has been made to just say no. First and foremost, Frugaldom is about providing a safe haven for our animals and we must protect them to the best of our ability. Having a stranger's dog chasing them is just not on. Yes, accidents happen and dogs get loose by mistake but it is unacceptable to allow this to happen within a sanctuary setting.
Sorry to all who may be affected by this but we have been left with no choice. From today (25/08/26), no further bookings will be accepted from the general public with dogs. Anyone arriving without declaring their dogs will be refused entry to the overnight parking area.

To our loyal supporters and regular visitors with well-behaved, non-reactive pets, please get in contact prior to your next visit.
