Safety first - nice little improvement made over the footbridge before work starts on weeding out the rogue Sitka Spruce that are growing up through the Legacy Woodland - logs will be used to edge the paths and to create more wildlife habitats from the brash piles

A walk around the quarry track shows just how quickly the ground is regenerating a covering of grass since the ponies have been off it. Hoping to keep this part pony free for as long as possible so here's hoping for some dry weather through October.
