Sinn Féin stands fully with the people of Garvaghy Road.

That was the clear message from First Minister Michelle O’Neill and our Sinn Féin team in the meeting today with local residents.

Attempts by political unionism to reopen an issue that is rooted in violence and sectarianism are disgraceful.

The people of Garvaghy Road deserve to live free from intimidation, and the peace that has been built and enjoyed must continue.

Sinn Féin will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the residents of Garvaghy Road and oppose any attempt to turn back the clock.

Tonight our activists where out in Whitewell cutting back the dangerous brambles and hedges from the old Greenfield site. Recently we have also requested for the grass to be cut at bottom of Serpentine and at Merston/Serpentine. Hopefully this will be done soon as it keeps our area clean and tidy looking. 🧹🌲⚠️.
