Tidworth Town Council & Tidworth Civic Centre Tidworth Town Council is a corporate body with a legal existence and its decisions are the responsibility of the whole body.

The Town Council has been granted powers by Parliament including the important authority to raise money through taxation (the precept) and a range of powers to spend public money. Its members are either elected every four years, returned unopposed or co-opted to fill a vacant seat. Tidworth Town Council consists of 19 councillors. Each councillor is also a member of a committee. There are four com

mittees:- Leadership, Projects, Community Services and Community Engagment. The Chairs of the committees form the Leadership group. Each committee holds a monthly meeting and their minutes are reported to the full council and ratified.

🚨 Gas Leak Update – Station Road 🚨

We are aware of the ongoing gas leak incident on Station Road.

SGN engineers are currently on site working to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.

SGN are in the process of establishing a local information hub where staff will be available to provide updates and assistance to affected residents. We will share the location as soon as it has been confirmed.

SGN have advised that they may introduce a dedicated telephone line for this incident. If this happens, we will share the details as soon as they become available.

Once the information hub is operational, SGN have also indicated that emergency equipment may be made available for affected residents, including Hot plates & Fan heaters

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while SGN work to make the area safe. We will continue to share updates as we receive them.

👩‍🍳🍰 FREE Summer Cooking Sessions for Children! 🍕🎉

Looking for a fun and creative activity to keep the children entertained this summer? Cook Stars are hosting FREE cooking workshops at Tidworth Civic Centre for children aged 4–11 years.

Young chefs will enjoy hands-on cooking, take home their delicious creations, and make a fun craft to enjoy too! All equipment and ingredients are provided.

📅 Workshop Dates:
🧁 Tuesday 4 August (10.30am–12.30pm) – Make & Bake a Marble Cake
🎂 Wednesday 19 August (10.30am–12.30pm) – Piñata Cakes
🍕 Tuesday 25 August (10.30am–12.30pm) – Stuffed Crust Pizza & Tiramisu
